Buyers who are active in Q1 tend to be very intentional. These aren’t window shoppers. They’re often relocating, planning around school schedules, or simply done waiting and ready to make a move.

Listing earlier in the year comes with some real advantages.

There’s usually less competition than in the spring, which means your home gets more attention from serious buyers. When fewer listings are competing for the same eyes, well-prepared homes tend to shine.

This is where strategy matters. Pricing correctly, presenting the home thoughtfully, and marketing it well can make a big difference.
